ashkicks is right. I have not posted in a while. But this is a good thing - because it means I'm not whining about angry cable customers, my ex-boss the ass, or the Traitor. While it also means I'm not bragging about my new job, its not that it isn't worth bragging about. I'm just content. And happy. And busy.

In happy and busy new job news, I came in my office this morning and it was painted the two lovely shades of rose that I requested. It's super awesome.




I'm a little high on paint fumes, wee.

My desk is kinda messy, but that's pretty much its perpetual state. When your job is lots of data, that's kinda just how things are. My boss said he heard that people with messy desks are actually more productive. But that people with messy desks with PILES are actually the most productive of all. I gotta work on more effective piles and preventing pile spillage.

On my desk, you'll also see my Panexa mug and my Vitamin Water. I <3 those, as well as lots of lovely family and Molly pictures. And gorgeous Mucha art that I nabbed on ebay for $5 hangs on my Mac's desk cabinet, wee, until I get some frames. I need more tho, definitely.

Speaking of Molly, she's been suffering since Saturday with some high fevers and overall misery. At first we thought it was teething as the poor dear has 2 more teeth (one of them a molar) coming in at the same time. However, I'm starting to think it's an ear infection as she cries out whenever she moves her head. Whenever we think it's teething, it's always something else - or rather, whenever she is teething, she always manages to pick up something else. It's heart wrenching watching her suffer. She pain in her eyes... she literally shudders in discomfort. I cry right along with her.

We had a fun weekend with violentfires despite the deadly cold weather outside. We stayed in and got our drink on Saturday night, watched Fuse for FoB videos (to no avail, tho they showed lots of gay Gerard with The Making of videos by My Chemical Romance and also Panic! at the Disco, both of which has merit. And friends over for the Superbowl with a crazy awesome spread of food, too. Fantasticness.

violentfires makes a MEAN cake, man. We daydreamed about making one that said something arbitrary like 'Go Cowboys' or something, but ended up just making cake. Because that's what really matters.

And the Colts won the Superbowl, so that makes the weekend even better.

Truly, Heroes and 24 make the world go round. Monday nights are yay.
